Upcoming at CCC


  • Expansion of CCC's On-going Group Therapy Program. This Fall, CCC offers two new therapy groups: one for adolescents ages 13-15; the other, 16-18. Girls and boys will have the opportunity to enhance interpersonal communication and social skills while working through individual issues.

 

  •  Case Seminar in Modern Psychoanalysis. Through the Long Island Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies (LICMPS), Dr. Padnick will teach a series of ten classes, the 3rd Saturday of each month, from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM, beginning September 17th, at CCC. The course is open to both beginning and experienced therapists. Clinical material will be presented to illustrate challenges at each stage of the treatment process: engaging the new patient; treatment destructive, status quo and transference resistances.   • Topic Based Educational Workshops. Designed specifically for parents of children with learning, behavioral and emotional challenges, Parenting with Understanding Workshops will address school and family related issues. Practical strategies for improving parent-child communication and managing problem behaviors will be presented. Please contact Dr. Padnick for dates, times and specific topics.

 

  • Clinical supervision for Practicing Professionals. Available by arrangement. Please contact Dr. Padnick.
